Çıralı Beach

Ulupınar Mahallesi, Kemer, Antalya

Sharing the same bay as Olympos but stretching out on the Çıralı side of the valley, this beach is known for its kilometers-long open shoreline and the citrus groves lining its edge. It has a noticeably calmer, more family-friendly feel than Olympos, with plenty of room for long beach walks and sunset views.

Before You Visit

  • The beach is predominantly pebbly, with some stretches of fine gravel mixed with sand, and the sea can get slightly choppy in the afternoon.
  • The beach is a protected caretta caretta nesting site — avoid lights and planting umbrellas or stakes in the sand after dark.
  • Sunbed and umbrella rentals are available but tend to fill up by midday in peak season, so arriving early helps.

What the Beach Is Like

With its wide, long shoreline spreading the crowds out comfortably, Çıralı suits both sunbathers and those who want a long beach walk. It's easy to pair a day here with a trip to the Chimaera (Yanartaş) flames or the ruins of Ancient Olympos nearby.

Sunrise and the walk to Olympos

Free of high-rise development, Çıralı is one of the best spots in the region for sunrise, long beach walks and calm swimming. From the south end of the beach you can walk over to Olympos; the archaeological site ticket applies when you enter the ancient city. Heading inland and north takes you to the road to Chimaera (Yanartaş).

Seeing a turtle is not guaranteed; the goal is to visit without disturbing their habitat. We explain how on our Responsible Sea Turtle Watching in Çıralı page.
