Çıralı's flat layout, quiet lanes between citrus groves and routes running parallel to the beach make it ideal for getting around by bike. For reaching the beach, the village businesses or the road to Chimaera without a car, a bike is both practical and fun.
Routes
- Village and beach: The lanes parallel to the beach and short rides between the groves are flat and easy; fine for families.
- Road to Chimaera: The road to the Chimaera (Yanartaş) entrance is steeper and needs some fitness.
- Link to the D400: The road up to the main highway has tight bends and traffic; it is not a family route.
Good to know
- Bikes can be rented in season; check the brakes, tyres and lights before you ride.
- Street lighting in the village is limited. If you ride in the evening, front and rear lights and reflective gear are essential.
- Çıralı beach is a sea turtle nesting site; don't ride onto the sand.
