If you are staying in Çıralı or Olympos, you don't need to go to Adrasan for a boat trip: daily boats leave straight from Çıralı beach, then stop at Olympos beach to pick up guests there. The route heads south to coves that cannot be reached by land.
Typical route
- Ceneviz Cove: Usually the first stop. A sheltered cove surrounded on three sides by high mountains, said to have been a pirate hideout. Visitors enjoy a mud bath in its black mud.
- Aquarium Cove: Named for its clarity; you can see fish even from the surface. A great snorkeling stop.
- Sazak Cove: A wide cove ringed by pine forest, where lunch is usually served.
- Lovers' Cave and sea caves: Caves the boat passes closely; when the sea is calm you can swim inside.
Stops may change with the day's wind and sea conditions, and the departure point may also move to another part of the beach depending on the weather. Confirm the meeting point before boarding.
Times and the day on board
Tours usually start between 09:30 and 10:00 and finish around 16:30–17:00, a 6–7 hour day. Lunch is generally included, followed by fruit and tea; other drinks are extra. Many boats have a shower and toilet on board. Boats run from April to November, busiest in June–August.
Other options
- Private boat: Families or groups who want to avoid crowds can hire a boat and set their own route. Some captains also go to the ancient harbour of Phaselis on private tours.
- Moonlight tour: Short evening tours in summer, especially around the full moon.
